Behind the Scenes

Greetings!

In the spirit of full disclosure, the past few months have been challenging, as things were not working out as planned. This experience brought Proverbs 16:9 to mind: “The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.” His Word- a lamp to our feet and light for our paths- sheds just enough light to reveal our next steps. It is faith in Him that assures us that He knows exactly where we’re going even if we can’t see it yet.

The recent reminder of Christ’s death and resurrection also shed some light on our situation. Think about it… Jesus is sealed in a dark and empty tomb. No one could have ever fathomed the power at work behind the scenes while He was defeating death and leading captivity captive. There was no physical evidence of what was to come. But, on the third day, the tomb was found empty, Jesus had been raised from death to life, and redemption, through Him, became accessible to all who believe.

This is what faith is all about- the evidence of things UNSEEN.
