“Curriculum guides instruction but should not limit learning.”

Curriculum
At Community Christian Learning Center, we recognize the need for children to explore and understand how to navigate the world God created. Our team aims to nurture that through practical, engaging, mastery-based learning opportunities. Our curriculum has been hand-curated to align with our mission, meet the individual needs of our students, and address learning gaps in a structured but fun, independent but interactive learning environment. We have chosen the following curriculum resources to aid in this quest: Master Books, HMH Go Math!, Positive Action for Christ, IXL, and NWEA Map Growth Assessments.
Master Books
Master Books, our English Language Arts curriculum, encourages practical application and critical thinking, while intentionally integrating biblical apologetics into every aspect of learning.
Go Math!
Go Math! is the perfect blend of textbook, online and hands-on activities that encourage a spirit of independence and discovery.
Positive Action
Positive Action for Christ provides a rigorous, biblically centered Bible curriculum designed to move students from simple head knowledge to heartfelt application. By systematically studying God’s character, words, and actions, students are challenged to yield to the Holy Spirit and apply Scripture directly to their daily choices and personal lives.
IXL
IXL is an online learning platform that provides skills-based targeted practice and interactive exercises across core subjects like math, language arts, science, social studies, and spanish.
NWEA Map Growth
NWEA Map Growth is a computer adaptive assessment that measures academic achievement and tracks student progress over time. Map Testing occurs three time per year.
